In nationally one-day employment push, Hiring Parties provides more secure jobs at participating franchise and Business restaurants with enlarged benefits as the newest plans for continued growth
Irvine, CA (RestaurantNews.com) Taco Bell is preparing for continuing restaurant growth and reopenings by starting its fourth annual Hiring Parties occasion on Wednesday, April 21. Converting parking lots into job fairs, these one-day events together with on-the-spot interview opportunities will take place at nearly 2,000 engaging company and franchise-owned locations across the U.S.. The goal is to employ at least 5,000 brand new group members from this year’s Hiring Parties.
Adhering to COVID-19 security measures, this year’s Hiring Parties will be kept out, in creative locations like terrace areas–a few candidates may even have the ability to take part in drive-up interviews without needing to leave their vehicle. One of other protocols, all participants and interview spots will probably remain at least six feet apart and masks are mandatory.
“It’s no secret that the labor market is tight, which is why we are thrilled to host our fourth round of Hiring Parties in partnership with our franchisees,” explained Kelly McCulloch, Taco Bell’s Chief People Officer. “This initiative continues to be successful for us year after year, and we welcome candidates to join in to learn more about what makes Taco Bell a great place to work. We’re eager to welcome prospective new hires into the family and show them why working at Taco Bell can be more than just a job.”
Whether employees are simply looking to begin with Taco Bell to their first job, or remain with the newest for longer-term career growth, Taco Bell restaurants have as much variety in its job opportunities as it does in its menu. Taco Bell has continued to evolve its own benefits for corporate employees who stay with the brand over time. Most recently, general supervisors at company-owned stores now have expanded leadership advantages, such as up to four weeks accrued vacation per year. General managers of company locations will also receive four weeks of paid”baby bonding” time for new parents and guardians and eight weeks of fully-paid short-term handicap after the arrival of a child. Regardless of tenure, staff members are also encouraged to submit an application for a Live Más Scholarship to pursue their educational dreams; up to $2.5 million will be awarded to staff members this year alone.
Collaborating closely with its franchisees, Taco Bell restaurants have pivoted its own roles and recruiting efforts in browsing the past year. The goal is to hire 5,000 team members across the platform for your April Hiring Parties day as Taco Bell looks ahead to more restaurant reopenings, remodels and new builds during 2021. Open roles will be different per each restaurant’s needs but will include positions at all levels, from Food Champion into General Manager. Restaurants will also be hiring to get more’bellhops’ to encourage drive-thru support with pill ordering.
