Rudolph was Florida State’s top receiver at the 2015 and 2016 seasons and finished his faculty soccer career with two,311 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns. He opted to input the 2017 NFL Draft after three seasons at FSU.

After going undrafted in 2017, Rudolph signed together with the New York Giants. He spent parts of the 2017 and 2018 campaigns with the franchise prior to being waived.

Rudolph was signed into the Miami Dolphins‘ practice squad in October 2018. However, he suffered a torn ACL during his first day of practice and never suited up in the NFL again.

Rudolph, who also had a short stint with the Canadian Football League’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers, finished his NFL career with eight catches for 101 yards.

The former wideout gained national attention in 2016 for eating lunch with an autistic student during the Seminoles’ team trip to Montford Middle School in Tallahassee, Fla.. The pupil’s mother posted the second to social websites, where it went viral.

A year after, Rudolph’s dad was murdered at a Florida nightclub following a gun was accidentally discharged. The bullet traveled through a wall and struck Darryl Rudolph as he was performing maintenance work in another room.

Travis Rudolph is the cousin of former NFL star Devin Hester.
